“The Tenmours new EP, Maze, is an explosion of folk pop fusion. Lead singer and songwriter Alex has a mature writing style for one so young suggesting there is more to come from him. The EP draws influences from a wide range of styles from celtic folk to modern pop. The stand out track, Lady of Gold, is a powerful and mysterious ballad which hints at influences from Nick Drake. Soaring violins and chunky cajon tracks that defy the instrument’s limitations compliment the strongest musical aspect of the EP, Alex’s impressive vocal capabilities with which he shows himself adept at handling the reflective lows before effortlessly reaching powerful highs. Imagine Jeff Buckley was backed by Capercaillie and you might get an idea of how The Tenmours sound. Brave, powerful and sonically pleasing. This is going on my heavy rotation list. Watch out for them.”

"The aim is that the paintings are vibrant, resolved, harmonious, extremely colourful and bursting with vitality, often with a symbolic sense. The pictures vary from precise geometric abstraction to a much looser more expressive style, but they are all part of the same constant evolution"
